jolly holiday :: heather

hello everyone. welcome to the last week of jolly holiday 2012. this week, i am so excited to have my friend (and ex-boss) heather sharing with us! i love her. & her style. so enjoy.

Hello sweet Scottyboy and Katygirl readers! My name is Heather and I'm the lady behind Life Made Lovely. I'm so excited to be here sharing about one of the things that makes our holiday more jolly.  For my family and I, it all starts at H O M E.  Our home is the place we nurture our hearts, and our minds, and our spirits; and during this busy time of year that's even more important.  Personally, I want my home to reflect the people that live in it, but mostly I want our space to reflect the L O V E (for each other and God) that lives in it.

My husband and kids love to hunt for vintage as much as I do, which comes in handy when hunting for holiday goodies for our home.  We have a mix of real vintage and faux, but I love it all the same.

We all like a good DIY project too, so you'll find a lot of handmade in our holiday home.  From art, finger knit garlands, bookpage trees, wreaths, snow globes, and ornaments.  We love it all.

We also love music, and always have some playing.  Some of our favorites are (all on Pandora):
VInce Guaraldi Trio Holiday station
Mindy Gledhill Holiday station
She & Him Holiday station
Thanks for having me over Katy.  I hope you all have a very merry Christmas!
